Un -Trim - A -Tree Holiday Program

 

The Un-Trim-A-Tree Holiday Program is a very special program that serves children and seniors in need.  Each year with the help of many dedicated volunteers and donors, the Un-Trim-A-Tree program provides gifts to thousands of children.  Families also receive food baskets from our generous donors

 We serve children up to 15 years of age.  Seniors are those who are 55 years and older.  We work closely with Prince William County Department of Social Services, Manassas City Social Services, ACTS, and SERVE to determine who most needs our help.  We reach out to those families and invite them to participate in our program.

Our donors choose the number of families that they would like to adopt and agree to provide two gifts for each child.  Donors can choose to bring the gifts to our distribution center, or to deliver the gifts to the families.

Gifts that are delivered to the distribution center have specific requirements.  They are as follows:

 All gifts should have a value of
$10.00-$20.00 (this ensures all
children who come to the center
are treated equally)
We ask that movie passes are
used instead of games such as
Nintendo or X-Box
We ask that food baskets do not
contain perishable food.  The
distribution center is not equipped
to handle food.

 

The distribution center will be at the Hylton Memorial Chapel (14640 Potomac Mills Road Woodbridge, VA 22192)

The drop off dates will be Monday December 17th and Tuesday December 18th -  FOR DONORS

The drop off times will be from 10:00 A.M. – 7:00 P.M.
