Retired and Senior Volunteer Program

(RSVP)

Prince William RSVP began in 1998 as part of the America Reads Challenge, a national initiative addressing the educational  crisis that 44% of rising fourth graders
in the United States read below grade level. While Prince William RSVP will continue
to support this initiative, the program is expanding to offer more opportunities
for community service. RSVP volunteers are throughout our community, addressing education, homeland security, elder issues, and more.

Adults, age 55 or older, are eligible to become an RSVP volunteer - even if you are already active in
the community. Prince William RSVP hosts a variety
of training events, luncheons and activities.
The program also offers the volunteer some
mileage reimbursement and, if you do not have
your own transportation, cab service will be
provided to take you to and from your volunteer station.

Consider sharing your time, talents, skills, and expertise by supporting the
needs of your community. Become an RSVP volunteer!
